You will earn the SSI Open Water Diver certification.
To enroll in a Open Water Diver course (or Junior Open Water Diver course), you must be 10 years old or older. You need adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health. No prior experience with scuba diving is required.

What will you learn?
The Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases:
- Knowledge Development ( online, independent study or in a classroom) to understand basic principles of scuba diving
- Confined Water Dives to learn basic scuba skills
- Open Water Dives to use your skills and explore!
How can you start learning now?
Sign up for Open Water Diver Online to get started immediately. You progress through six knowledge development sections using a web-based system that lets you learn at your own pace through an easy-to-use, interactive program.
This means less classroom time and more beach time!
What scuba gear will you use?
We will provide all the equipment you need.
All our equipment is in very good condition from the brand Aqualung or Mares

- Comfort:
Would you like to get a bit more experience, before heading off on your own?
Try the Open Water Course Maximum Experience, which includes two extra training dives with your instructor:
Includes SSI materials, knowledge development sessions, pool sessions, 6 open water dives (2 days on the boat), and certification fees. On boat diving days, breakfast, lunch and snacks are served on the boat.
- Classic:
Includes SSI materials, knowledge development sessions, pool sessions, 4 open water dives (2 days on the boat), certification fees and Diving Insurance.
On boat diving days, breakfast, lunch and snacks are served on the boat.
- Economy:
Short on time and budget?
Try the Open Water Course Economy, which includes two open water dives from the shore and two dives from the boat. This way you can save 1 day (only for those who did theory on line) and have a fun dive instead.
Includes SSI materials, knowledge development sessions, pool sessions, 6 open water dives (2 days on the boat), and certification fees. On boat diving days, breakfast, lunch and snacks are served on the boat.
- Open Water Course + 1 Specialty Certification
If you would like to earn a second certification in conjunction with your Open Water Diver Course, there are a number of choices for you! This will also include 2 additional dives with your instructor. Learn more about Boat Diving, Perfect Buoyancy, Enriched Air Nitrox, Equipment techniques, Waves, Tides & Currents, and more.
Includes SSI materials, knowledge development sessions, pool sessions, 6 open water dives (2 days on the boat), certification fees for both the OW course and the Specialty course and Diving Insurance.
On boat diving days, breakfast, lunch and snacks are served on the boat.
- Open Water Course + 2 Specialty Certifications
If you would like to improve your skills even more, you can get 2 specialty certifications and eventually become the Specialty Diver (after 12 logged dives).
Includes SSI materials, knowledge development sessions, pool sessions, 8 open water dives (3 days on the boat), certification fees for both the OW course and the two Specialty courses and Diving Insurance.
On boat diving days, breakfast, lunch and snacks are served on the boat.
